Aspire is part of NEC!

Last week, NEC Aspire Technology proudly participated in FYUZ 2025, one of the telecom industry’s most forward-looking events focused on Open RAN, network intelligence, and next-generation connectivity. As part of our commitment to shaping the future of intelligent, cloud-native networks, Aspire participated in the conversations on how to accelerate innovation and collaboration across the ecosystem.

A highlight of our presence was the panel session “From Lab to Live – Building Trust in RAN Automation”, moderated by our CTO, Declan Friel. The session brought together industry leaders from VIAVI Solutions, Aira Technologies, HCLTech, and Ericsson to explore how multi-vendor SMO/RIC/rApp stacks are being validated in lab environments and scaled into commercial deployments. Key topics included migrating legacy SON functions into rApps, lifecycle management, the use of digital twins, plus collaboration and sharing lessons from TIP RIA group and collaborative testbeds.
Beyond the panel, Aspire engaged in vibrant discussions around the future of AI RAN, network automation, and Non-Terrestrial Networks. It was clear from the sessions and conversations that the telecom landscape is undergoing a profound transformation, with cloud and AI-native architectures at the heart of this evolution.

We were also honored to present at the AWS Breaking Barriers Hackathon, thanks to Intel’s invitation. There, we showcased real-world AI RAN use cases that are already delivering measurable impact, demonstrating how innovation is not just theoretical, but actively reshaping how networks are built and optimized.
Thank you to the organizers of FYUZ and all our industry peers who contributed to such a dynamic and insightful event. We look forward to continuing the conversation in the time ahead and to reconnecting at the next opportunity to push the boundaries of what’s possible in open, intelligent networks.
