Aspire is part of NEC!

At this time of year, the calendar is traditionally packed with regional IEEE events and Aspire was proud to contribute to two of the most significant gatherings in Serbia.
The TELSIKS 2025 conference, held in Niš, Serbia, from 22–24 October, provided an excellent platform for presenting our latest research. Uroš Savković and Igor Tomić represented NEC Aspire Technology with their paper on Advanced Spectral Efficiency Assessment for Expert 4G/5G RAN Network Design, highlighting new approaches to improving network performance and efficiency. TELSIKS, now in its 17th edition, continues to attract international experts and researchers, offering a rich program that spans telecommunications, signal processing, and emerging technologies. Their participation underscored Aspire’s commitment to advancing the science behind next-generation networks.

Just a month later, Aspire took part in the 33rd Telecommunication Forum (TELFOR 2025), held in Belgrade on 25–26 November. TELFOR is one of the region’s most prominent events, organized by the Telecommunications Society and the University of Belgrade, with IEEE Serbia & Montenegro Section support. At TELFOR, Igor Tomić, Vlado Spajic, and Dusan Jovanovic delivered a lecture titled Mobile Network Evolution & the Road to 6G. The session explored key market trends in mobile network transformation, with a special focus on the role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of mobile communications.

Aspire also demonstrated ongoing AI research and solutions already deployed for Tier-1 and Tier-2 operators. These included innovations in traffic forecasting, capacity expansion prioritisation, and traffic and network performance pattern analysis and segmentation. The presentation concluded with a live demonstration of our Aspire Agentic NOC solution, which drew strong interest from attendees. TELFOR once again proved to be a valuable hub for exchanging ideas, meeting regional players, and exploring the future of telecommunications. For further information on the showcased solutions or to discuss specific use cases, readers are welcome to reach out to our Head of Technical Solutions Group, Luis Isidoro.

We extend our gratitude to the organizers of TELSIKS and TELFOR for their dedication to hosting such impactful events. A special thanks goes to the TELFOR organizing committee, led by Prof. Dr. Aleksandar Nešković, for their excellent work in bringing together the regional telecommunications community. We look forward to continuing our contributions and seeing everyone again next year!
