Aspire at i14y Lab Summit 2025

Aspire participated in the i14y Lab Summit 2025, held on September 11 in Berlin, an industry event dedicated to accelerating Open RAN testing, certification, and ecosystem development.

Organized by i14y Lab, an open and interoperable testing facility, the summit welcomed over 150 participants under the theme “Implement & Consolidate.” The event featured insightful talks and panels, collaborative workshops, deep-dive interactive sessions, and inspiring conversations all about giving Open RAN a boost through testing and certification.

Philippe Glynn, Aspire Technology Director, together with Abdel Bagegni from TIP, hosted an interactive session titled “SMO/RIC Ecosystem Development and Validation”. The session explored the strategic importance of Open SMO, standardization, portability, centralization of testing within open independent labs, and the operator journey from SON to RIC.
